Eating Animals by Jonathan Saffran Foer has been lying around here for 3 month roughly. I've been constantly dodging it throughout the whole time. However, I HAD to have it because people were uttering this unique, magical sentence: " This book changed my life. " What a statement! One has to savour this in the truest sence of the word, hasn't he? What kind of book has the power to arouse people nowadays? We're threatened by so many diffuse things such as terrorism, global warming, unemployment, the economic crisis an so forth. We prefer to take refuge into parallel digital lifes, consumerism, work, instead of questioning ourselfs and our environment at least a tiny bit. Eventually I got curious enough to venture this reading over the holidays. And know what? It actually DID change my life. I doubt that I will turn into a vegetarian. But I am perceiving things differently, acting differently -. More conscious So why do not you give it a go if you dare to face the bare facts?

The title can easily imagine that this is about is the consumption of meat products. To factory farming. Industrialized slaughter. Contaminated, infected meat. Environmental impact. Ill-bred animals.
